I worked on this project for 10 weeks in my Demo Reel 1 course at Gnomon, and I wanted to do my best to bring the original concept to life while still getting the same story across in a 3D space. I was responsible for all aspects of this project, except for the fire/bird VFX, the books, and the map textures on the table (couldn't resist throwing in Middle Earth on there!). I have my instructors Anton Napierala, Julian Elwood, and Tyler Young for all their pivotal guidance with the materials, art direction, and lighting while working on this scene. This was the most challenging project I've taken up so far, and their insights were invaluable in making sure the room would be brought to life!
